Thanksmas!

What’s good Joshua?!

Joshua is cruising along, from our classes, to guest speakers, to sweeps, each day we are growing in our walk with Christ, and bonding as a class.

To top it off, we just had one of the best theme dinners yet, Thanksmas! It was an absolutely wild mix of celebrating Thanksgiving and Christmas, and then decorating for Christmas after!

We got to dress up as either a Christmas or Thanksgiving character. There were a few nativity characters, snowflakes, trees, corn stalks, and my personal and biased favorite- the Home Alone cast!

Dinner was, fabulous. Where do I begin? Amy outdid herself with some turkey, garnished with some cranberry sauce, with mashed potatoes and stuffing right beside it, could it get any better? Yes, yes it can. Then our eyes diverted to the table, filled with dozens of pies. From your classic pumpkin pie, to cherry, and spicing it up with peach, we were living, the Friendsgiving dream.

After dinner, the fun began. The Joshua class of 2020, just made the Joshua building 10x better. We got to decorate for Christmas!! We got broken into teams, some on garland, others making snowflakes, while a few Joshua students got to set up the 12-foot Christmas tree! The staff played some Christmas hits, we danced, laughed, and felt the Christmas spirit alive in our Joshua class.

We leave for Mexico on Sunday! Please keep us in your prayers as we embark on our first mission trip of the year! After Mexico, we will go straight to break!

Sincerely, Livi, Ali, Bron, Matt Mann
