Love and lessons

God has really been doing a work in us this week. It has become so apparent to myself and my group that there are so many varying beliefs and lifestyles that we must be strong in the sound teaching of the Word to effectively share it. I am so thankful for how the Holy Spirt has worked through us all and is teaching us so much. We visited The Museum of Tolerance today and it was incredibly eye opening. We not only learned about the intolerance throughout history but how people’s beliefs even today can be so hateful, narrow, and un-christlike. We learned genocide is still a real thing as well as hateful prejudice. My prayer is that as our eyes have been opened, God can use us through the corruption for His glory.

We also visited the Dream Center, an LA mission that provides a new life for people who desire to walk in the light and teach serving and discipleship. We loaded up vans full of food to give to the needy and passed it out. One by one these people came to collect food, and many of them we had the pleasure of praying for. It was an awesome day full of love and lessons.

“preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort, with complete patience and teaching. For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions,”

2 Timothy 4:2,3 ESV
