Previews and Brad

It’s the boys of room 102 comin’ at ya with another blog post. This week we are experiencing our third and final preview, there are about twelve preview students, and it’s been great to have them in the building with us and give them a small taste of what life is like as a Joshua student. Today during SWEEPS in ponderosa kitchen, head chef carl sliced a potato in half with a samurai sword which was very exciting. It’s the little things in life you know? On Monday we took our final exam for our hermeneutics class. Finishing the class made us realize just how far we have come since the beginning of the year and how close we are to being done. Our speaker this week is Brad Quillen from Turlock, Ca. He is speaking to us on what forgiveness is meant to look like as well as how communication is key in relationships with others. Elizabeth Prasad is blessing us greatly this week by filling the role of our catalyst. Elizabeth and her husband started “Witnessing Ministries of Christ” and has spent many years leading trips with this group over to India to spread the word of God with the people classified as “the untouchables”. Elizabeth is a rock star and we love her.
