Summer Jobs!

This week has been crazy one but a good one. As the year progresses a lot of us students have come to a ditch of tiredness, but with only 4 weeks till Israel we are all persevering. On Tuesday of this week, the 5th, we were all given our summer assignments for work. Along with this came excitement and anticipation to start work this summer. We jumped back into our regular schedule after our trip to LA with classes, and started our book discussion on The Dangerous Act of Worship by Mark Labberton. Like I said there are many mixed emotions happening around the class coming into the last month of our time in the building, but we are all anxious and excited to see what we still have in store for us for the remainder of our Joshua year. – Room 108

It has been a quiet week up at Joshua as a lot of us are resting and recouping from our week in LA, but one exciting thing that happened is that we got our summer jobs this week. There are an array of emotions due to this, but overall we are excited and looking forward to summer and all that God will teach us. We are continuing to learn a lot up here and our speaker, Brad Bell gave us a lot of direction on the topic of dating and marriage; something that many of us needed to hear. Overall it has been a good week and we are ready to get our job assignments and go into another work weekend! – Room 223
