Hey everybody! Thanks for tuning in to week 4 of the Joshua class of 2020 blog. So far, we’ve had three work weekends and two full weeks of classes.
As our first month comes to an end, I can honestly say that this has been one of the coolest learning experiences I have had the pleasure to be a part of. There are 38 of us here and personally, I have never lived with that many people before.
It’s interesting learning all differences in how we were all brought up. Some of us didn’t have any siblings and others grew up with five or more siblings! It has definitely been an adventure of learning about each other thus far. We are slowly, but surely becoming our own not so little family. I could not be more grateful for the experience and I am so excited to see where this year will take us!

Suh dudes! Room 103 here! God is so good and he has definitely proved that this past week. We (Hunter and Ethan) had the privilege to serve in the snack shop this weekend. It was such a blessing to see all the wonderful faces and just serving the people of Hume. Also, we got some free milkshakes so that was pretty sick! Sunday night was such a blessing too. Some of us went to church and played some soccer with the community, while others took advantage of the building being quiet (which is pretty rare) and caught up on some homework. Monday, we got to sleep in a little bit and have a relaxing morning. Then Monday night we got to hear from our guest speaker Chris Schultz from The Well down in Fresno. He talked about relationships and how important it is to communicate and rely on each other and ultimately rely on God in everything we do. This week the theme some of us have seen is, God is Good! It has been true so far, this year. Can’t wait to grow more as a community!
In Him,
