LA Day 3!

Today was a wonderful day in downtown Los Angeles. At 4 am, a small handful of our group got up to serve at the Midnight Mission. We were blessed with the opportunity to prepare breakfast for the community in Skid-row. After a quick pit stop at a local aquatic center for showers, we spent some time talking with a monk from the Self Realization Center about God, religion, and meditation. It was a challenging yet informative experience, for sure. The highlight of today was our evening trip to Hollywood Boulevard. Caleb, Julia, and I were stopped short by a man named Ronnie. We spent two hours getting to hear his story over some In-N-Out. We popped into Ross to help him grab some necessities and then prayed with him before leaving. God has been so present throughout this trip and I’m immensely grateful for the privilege it is to serve Him and be empowered by His Spirit to love others well and share the example of Jesus. Blessings from LA, loyal blog readers!
