Covid-19 Update

June 5, 2020

Dear Parents and Students of the Class of 2021,

Over the past several months, since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic, our team at the Joshua Wilderness Institute along with the leadership team of Hume Lake Christian Camps have been closely monitoring daily, as well as watching current restrictions put forth by the CDC, the State of California, and local authorities to understand how current guidelines might affect our upcoming class of 2021 scheduled to arrive on September 12, 2020.

Our team has considered many of the possibilities and scenarios that would help us achieve our mission of Transforming the Life-effectiveness of God’s People while keeping our staff and students safe. We have spent many hours considering a myriad of options as it relates to our programming, and in light of current restrictions still in-place, we will continue to hope and anticipate things will change in favor of allowing the class of 2021 to commence this Fall.

During these unprecedented times we continue to pray that the Lord will make a way. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to email us at joshuainfo@humelake.org.

Hoping along with you,

The Joshua Wilderness Institute Staff
