Hey y’all, I’ve been sick this and last week and I’m just starting to get better. Yesterday Jeremy, Hayden and I went down the hill so Hayden and I could get urgent care. We thought it’d be a quick trip in and out of the doctors but it ended up being a ten hour trip, as Hayden is still down the mountain in the hospital. He has pneumonia but he is in good spirits. Hey guys! I have been having so much fun at the volleyball site this last week. It’s crazy to think that we only have a few days left here. In the mornings we go to the nearby school to help out with their P.E. classes. We all love playing with the kids, even though most of the 12-year-olds are better at volleyball than we are. Hey friends, My experience in the DR has certainly broken any expectations I had. Starting on Tuesday last week, I came down with a bacterial infection which led to me developing bronchitis. Thus, much of my time here has been spent sick in bed with a nasty cough. This led to frustration and disappointment as I was hoping for a more interactive experience here. Even as I write this, I feel the burden of illness.
