Israel pt. 1

Hello from the Promised Land!!! We are on day 3 of our Israel trip and it has been incredible. We have been riding camels, floating in the Dead Sea, hiking Masada, exploring underground cities at Bet Guvrin picturing David & Goliath fighting from the top of Azekah, and wandering in the Wilderness of Zin… And it’s only day three!!!

We are so excited and thankful to be here safely, our traveling went well, and we’ve mostly adjusted to the time. We have definitely adjusted to the delicious food and are enjoying lots of pita bread & hummus!

We are busy for the majority of our days and are pretty exhausted in the evenings but we couldn’t be more happy about it. The Bible is coming alive in new and exciting ways and I think each and every one of us is blown away by how differently the Bible looks after seeing the land and understanding more about the culture of Israel.

I cannot wait for the next few days and am so thankful for the support that has encouraged me on through this past year of my life. It had been challenging and growing in so many ways, but a complete and total gift. I’m so grateful to finish out a year of fun and often painful growth with my Joshua family in Israel! This year is coming to a close but I’m starting to feel like we are ready. I’m proud of us.

I can’t wait to share more as our trip progresses. We love you!!
