Break Time!

Hello again, everyone! Happy last week before spring break!

This week has been a unique week for the class. Starting this week, we welcomed our third and final group of preview kids! It is always one of my favorite times of the year because I get to share information and advice for the program. I love Joshua Wilderness Institute, so to be able to share my love and recommend it to others is a wonderful experience.

Unfortunately, we had our last broom-hockey night of the year. It may have been my favorite session because I scored 4 goals. It was slightly saddening seeing all our Joshua hockey jerseys out on the ice for the last time.

Because this week marks the final two months of the program, we have begun to plan our quilt! Thirty-one squares are to be filled full of inside jokes, memories from trips and daily life, and spiritual formation. It is wild to think that we are so close to the end! To be honest, I’m excited to break my fast at the end of the year; however, I am sad to say goodbye to everyone that I have come to know.

I hope that whoever is reading this has a great spring break, and to all the Joshua students, I can’t wait to see yall again!

Happy Easter, everyone!
