Turkey Day 2

Hey dudes,

It’s Isaac with an update! We are on the second day of our final trip and we finished our second day, and it’s been a blast. It’s truly just begun. We went to Perge, an old Roman city and learned about the culture and architecture, as well as it’s importance in what Paul most likely experienced on his missionary journey. We also went to the aspens theater. It was large and robust but very well crafted and preserved. Preserved enough in fact to still be used in modern day performances. That all being said, it has been very introductory, but a blessing in this scenario because we are truly seeing how the gospel, people, and culture haven’t really changed. I am excited to see how the trip will continue, and I am excited to further see history and Paul’s journey come to life.
