Another Week in the Building

This week we had a lot of fun, but not a lot of rest. We got our first 6 am which was actually really cool! We had to clean and vacuum the fleet vehicles for Joshua (they were already really clean). I got to work grounds this weekend, I got really tired on Sunday and went home a little early. It was a fun job and I hope to get it often. It’s mostly scraping

Third Week at JWI

Hi everyone! My time at Joshua so far has been such a blessing as I have been witnessing the Bible turn to color, the worship convict hearts, and the people become family. It was the best time to explore this ancient city. Compared to the other sites, this city was so crowded. It felt like an ancient Disneyland. While we were in Ephesus,

Turkey Day 7

Turkey day 7! Although biblical sites, history lessons, and Roman ruins are mind-blowing and impactful to gain context for the Bible, taking a break today to see a cultural treasure was an amazing experience; we got to see how authentic Turkish rugs are made! As we pulled up to the carpet cooperation between over 100 villages and 2000 workers, mainly women, we stepped into an important pillar in Turkish culture. These rugs were used by
