Philippians 2 Testing!

Hey guys!

I am so excited to be a part of another blog for yall! This week has been a rollercoaster. It’s been really exciting to see everyone coming back from break but I think we are all just mentally exhausted. We had Philippians testing this week and I was very stressed about it being written instead of verbalizing it! But I passed and so did so many people as well which was super exciting! One of my Joshua sisters, Sam Miller held a prayer circle to pray for those that haven’t passed yet. It was super sweet to see our community come together and do that for our other siblings. We also had our formal theme dinner which was so fun! It was a blast getting ready with all of the girls in that way. The staff did such an amazing job at putting it all together for us and we all got to dance our hearts out with one another and that was probably the highlight of it. I think I could say it was my favorite theme dinner so far. I’m pretty nervous about going on break again next week but it gives me the opportunity to grow  and challenge my relationship with the lord in that way outside of Joshua. Lastly, It started snowing again which is such a blessing from God! I find peace just looking out my window and just watching the snowfall. I am so grateful that my creator has given me such a beautiful place to live with such loving people. I hope you all have a great rest of your week and always know that Jesus loves you!

Peace to you all! This week has been great! We’re currently having our formal right now and I forgot I had to write this, but formal has been great. Some people haven’t gotten Philippians done, but we all ended up being able to come to formal, which we didn’t know until a few hours ago. Ping pong has been a grind this week as we recently got a new table. It snowed today, so myself and others are looking forward to some sledding. I hope and pray for you all.

This week at Joshua was a rollercoaster of emotions. First off, Philippians 2 testing was this week and may I just say, I should have studied earlier. But, in the end almost everyone passed (including me). Even though it was a stressful week, I continue to see the Lord in even the simplest of ways. Whether that is in conversations I have with friends or the snow that is currently falling from the sky, I rejoice in his work. I am so excited to see what the Lord has for me and the rest of the Joshua siblings as the year continues to unfold.

Hey y’all!

I’m so thrilled to be able to tell y’all about my week again! This week was packed with so many memories. The weeks started out with Philippians chapter 2 testing. I definitely underestimated the amount of time it would take me to memorize all 30 verses. I only started on the Monday before, yikes, but by the grace of God I was able to memorize all of it by Tuesday of this week. I am so grateful for my sisters and brothers who helped me get through it. Although it can seem daunting when looking at it as a whole or just as an assignment, but I’ve come to realize that it is such a huge blessing that I am able to take part in. It truly is an amazing feat to be able to memorize Gods word and write it on my heart to equip the Holy Spirit with the tools I will need to fight against the enemy.

Okay, the winter formal was by far my favorite part of the week! It was a blast to be able to dress up and get ready with all of my sisters. We danced and played one of the songs that our Joshua brothers made, borrowed everybody’s stuff, and just made so many memories. The staff was so sweet and put on an entire restaurant for us and called it Joshiados. It was so funny! They even were our waiters and served us and made the whole night super special. Then, probably the best part of all, we had a dance party in the great room and we danced and sang for what felt like hours, but was probably only like a hour. And I think I lost my voice lol. It even snowed and it felt magical.

Over all this was probably one of the best weeks I’ve had so far. It was stressful, but so much fun, and I’m so blessed to be able to experience both the exiting highs and major lows with all of my amazing Joshua brothers and sisters!!

Jesus loves you!
