DR Day 4!

Hey howdy,

Guess who’s back. So far the Dominican Republic is too humid, but I did come to this crazy realization while eating dinner yesterday. I was eating dinner in the community and it dawned on me that I am with strangers that I met this morning, with friends that I made a couple months ago, eating food that I have never had, in the middle of the Caribbean. What am I doing with my life, but like in a good way, I could be playing video games and pursuing college, but I am having a once in a lifetime experience.

My site that I vave been working over the past week is appropriate technology, and it is quite fulfilling to deliver water filters to the people that need it, and the water filters are dang heavy. Once work is over it is a blast hanging out with my brothers and sisters in this new environment. Some stuff we do in our free time is basketball, dancing, and Dominican games. Just so you know, I am not good at dominos.

Thats all for now, talk to y’all later.

Signing off for now,

-Jeremy Scott (Current Student)
