Hey guys!
It’s so good to be back in the building. We got back from LA on Sunday. That trip stretched me so much. This week has been pretty restful. Our speaker Casey Groves is a huge blessing to me. His insane musical talent is so inspiring. While going through the teachings of Jesus and the parables He taught, I’ve learned that where we place ourselves and the posture of our heart matters so much when it comes to our faith.
I had the privilege to be lead by the Holy Spirit in beautiful worship on Monday. The Spirt moved me through the room and I felt the power of God. It was such an amazing feeling and experience.
Only 2 months left! I’m excited to see what God has in store for me in the summer and the fall.
Till next time!
Your great pal,

Yo!
Its Hijazi. Blog post time.
A lot has happened in the past couple of weeks. We just got back from our trip in LA and id love to talk about it!
My anticipation for this trip was super high but I did my best to walk into this trip with no expectations other than that I would get out of my comfort zone. Spoiler alert: I did. When we showed up on Monday, we got to go to this Korean Mall outside of Downtown LA and talk to people and share the gospel. It was pretty scary and nerve racking since it was our first day and first time evangelizing but it was successful nonetheless. We also got to go to the UCLA campus. We went to downtown LA, Hollywood, and Chinatown. So pretty much all over.
I had a ton of fun going around the city and talking to random people about what they believe. It was quite interesting to see that not many people think about what they believe but I think that in itself is good perspective to have on humanity.
One of the days, Noah and I got to go to Tyler The Creator’s store ‘Golf’ over by The Grove and it was a super cool experience since we both love listening to Tyler. I got to buy a shirt there and i was super hyped!
When we got back to the building, it snowed for like 2 days straight and we ended up getting a couple feet of snow which was wild. We had a ton of fun sledding and having snowball fights and what not. I’m from Texas so this was the first time I got to see snow this much, I can see how people get tired of it haha.
Other than that we have just been doing homework and buckling up for the tail end of Joshua. It is sad to see the end coming but I am so excited for the future. I can’t wait for college, I can’t wait for a family, I can’t wait for my own place, but its gonna be sad to say goodbye to this family that we have at Joshua.
We could really use prayer on endurance through these final two months of Joshua. Pray that we continue to seek Christ and not the things of this world.
That’s all!
Hook em horns.
Shoutout Texas.
Love you mama.
