The Week After SoCal

Hi, my name is Starlyn and welcome to this week’s Joshua Wilderness Blog! October 20-24th! This week we had speaker Jordan Weaver. One of our good friends that live here at Hume with his family. It has been a blessing to hear him speak and help us connect with each other through scripture and prayer. Hearing His story and knowing more about him and his family has been inspiring to listen to! He spoke about Saul’s conversion, under shepherds and training, and how our God always redeems us. Jordan was only with us Monday through Wednesday. One sermon short, but he made it seem well lasted. He was full of wisdom and helped a lot of us with God’s words working through him.

The weather is starting to get colder. We had a random storm come in where it was pouring rain and the wind was incredibly strong. It was a cozy day, a lot of us were cuddled up in blankets! Our amazing chef, Precious made us soup that day and it was great. Classes have also been going great, as usual. Unfortunately a sickness has been going on. A good handful of us were not feeling good and had to stay in our rooms and rest. We’ve been praying they get fully better. They are healing slowly but surely! Everything is going great here and we miss you guys a lot! Everyone is in our prayers and we love you guys!

Bye for now.
