Drew here, I just thought I’d let everyone know Malachi is awful at helping writing the blog, other than that he’s a great roommate. This week we had the pleasure of having Matt Jensen as our speaker, he spoke on various topics that evolved the church. He explained how to handle divisions in the Church as well as how to pick a church and stay active within it. These were all very applicable lessons due to the fact that we are almost done with the program and will be going back out into the world and having to find mostly new home churches.
Hello! It’s me, Kaitlyn!! Life up on a mountain is pretty great, it’s currently snowing outside (not that we don’t have enough already). We finished the book we were reading, The Gospel and Personal Evangelism by Matt Dever. It’s super helpful having a foundation for evangelism especially since we’re headed to L.A. in a week and half. Our book discussion was led by Sam Littlefield (the wonderful ladies RD). Even though the book was only 112 pages, it was full of great information. Well I’ve got to get back to writing the essay we have due tomorrow. Thanks for reading! Hi Mom and Dad!
Hey everyone, it’s Marisa here! Life up here has been very busy with the combination of school and work. Even though it’s been kind of hectic, life has been really fun. I have been learning to enjoy the little things that happen in the building, otherwise I don’t think it’s possible to make it through. For example, Wednesdays, even though they are one of our busier days, are the best because of one simple reason: Bread bowls. This Wednesday was especially exciting because Kelsey, our very talented chef, gave us the options of both Chili and Clam Chowder. It was quite a choice but I believe I made the right one going with the classic Clam Chowder. I am so glad you stayed until the end of our very riveting blog. I hope you all have a great rest of your day and remember, always choose the Clam Chowder.
(Also, love you Family! So excited to see you guys soon!)
For Girl’s Night this week we celebrated Galentines – also known as, Girl’s Valentines! Check out photos form our photo-booth here!
