On the brisk winter evening of March 7th, the lives of the girls living in room 203 changed forever. Two unsuspecting girls had the scare of their lives. Caitlynn, was casually reading on her bed, perfectly content with life. Her roommate, Kaylee, entered the room with the intent of getting ready for dinner; the only care in her mind was what lipstick color would best match her blouse. As soon as Kaylee passed the threshold of the door, a looming figure appeared in the corner of her eye. She screamed, “Caitlynn, what is that?!” Caitlynn spun around to see a giant arachnid clinging to the wall above her head. She jumped out of her bed and ran to the other side of the room. The spider was too high for either of the girls to reach, so they began to mull over their options. How would they get the free-loading monster out of their room? After many minutes, they concluded that they could not kick the monster out on their own. While the girls were formulating a plan, Caitlynn decided to name the heathen Lucile. Screams of horror and frustration rang through the hall every time Lucille progressed an inch up the wall. “No Lucille!” Caitlynn could not take the situation any longer. She had not signed up for another roommate, and she was NOT going to let some free-loader crawl all over her! If Lucile wanted to stay, she had to pay rent. In complete and utter anguish, Caitlynn went across the hall to get Madelyn, who is super tall, to kill the spider. Little did they know that Madelyn was also afraid of spiders. With the help of an artistic cardboard creation, Madelyn managed to lure Lucile off the wall. The girls were too quick to rejoice, for Lucille mounted a counter attack. Madelyn dropped her tool, and Lucille was lost. The whereabouts of Lucile are still unknown to this day. For all Caitlynn knows she could be cuddling with Lucile in the night. The two girls now live in fear, wondering if the eight-legged villain still resides in the shadows, or if she has left them alone for good.
