Hola from Mexico!!
Today was our final day at Colina de Luz. It has been a day of reflection and thankfulness. God is so good and so evident in everything around us. For example, we have seen Christ in the smiles of these adorable children, in the sunsets and sunrises, and in the sunshine and in the rain. It has been amazing to see how God is blessing all of us in small amazing ways. Whatever job we have had, sewing, organizing the pharmacy, painting, doing concrete, God have given us the joy of Christ. I have been so personally blessed to have been able to witness the immense joy in all my Joshua siblings this week. As we go into Thanksgiving break, my heart is so full.
Tonight was a blast. After a long workday we got to go to Rosarito, a city nearby. We adventured around the town, going shopping anywhere from cornrows in our hair, to ponchos, and pictures at sunset, to munching on street tacos, and buying midnight snacks at the market. Overall, I can speak for the whole class, we will never forget our time here. Half of our hearts will forever be in Mexico.
Adios,
Cindy & Ali
