LA!

It’s been a long week in LA, but definitely one of the best weeks yet!!

We arrived in Los Angeles on Monday and we hit the ground running. It’s so hard to explain everything we did because we were busy all day every day so I’ll keep it short.

We did a lot of evangelizing, serving, site seeing, learning about worldviews, meeting people, talking about Jesus, walking, laughing, and just getting to see a whole new perspective on people and their lives. It was a gift to do all that we did, a lot of our Los Angeles trip was incredibly uncomfortable and hard, but I am so thankful for a God who uses those opportunities as moments of growth. I was pushed in so many ways but the biggest way I feel like I have grown is in the way that I view people and the world.

I felt my heart break and also deeply love this week, most of the time it was in conversations with people that were complete strangers and people who, though we are not strangers anymore, I may never see again. Everyone I met was all searching for something, searching for love, connection, the feeling of being understood, the answers to the void they feel within themselves. I saw a lot of different beliefs and worldviews this week, but I also saw the depravity of sin and how desperately we need a Savior. More than anything I am thankful for the growth in myself and the profound moments of deep and simple humanness I felt and saw in all people and in my own self.

“What is mankind that you are mindful of them,

human beings that you care for them?”

Psalm 8:4 I am so thankful for this last week and for a good, gracious Savior! Have a good week friends!
