Working on Unity

Hey Everybody! From Shiloh and Josh! The blog this week is probably gonna be a bit short. Anyway, we got back from the Dominican Republic last Saturday after 24 hours of bus rides, a delayed flight and almost missing another flight. We are finally back in the building, and after a couple days of rest we are right back in the swing of things. We’ve had classes as normal and tomorrow we have our Hermeneutics

Back to Reality

On Saturday morning, we woke up at 3am and left for the States! After a 4 hour flight from Jarabacoa to JFK, we found ourselves tight on time, and sprinting through the airport, in a group of 40, to our gate. We hardly made it, and some begging was needed. The Medical Site

Jarabacoa will always have a special place in my heart. Through the medical site I’ve had the privilege of not only helping but also doing life with the amazing people who live here. Our regular schedule starts with waking up bright and early to start devotionals at 6:35. We were given a booklet when we arrived to help guide us through devotionals each day as well as some information about the culture and history of

Los Higos community

It’s been nothing but rain for the past 4 days here in Jarabacoa. While many of us enjoy the cool weather, we are also ready to be dry. We enjoyed seeing the market area and town on Saturday, many of us enjoyed smoothies and saw different art and jewelry made by the locals. Sunday we split up into 2 groups for 2 separate church services and experienced worshiping our God in another language. Monday was
