Preparing to leave the country!

We are one week away from being in the Dominican Republic, and the excitement in the building is running high! To prepare us for the trip, we have Dave Hansen, president of Students International, speaking to us on how to do short term missions in a practical and healthy way. The first night was the importance of long term missions, and how Students International, which happens to be the organization that we partner with for

All the students ended up working the New Year’s Eve pizza train, which is when we all danced and handed out pizzas. The preview students showed up today. Preview is a great time we get to spend hanging out with potential

Last week before break!

Just week from break and we are all going full steam ahead. Over the weekend, Victory Outreach came for a retreat here at Hume with kids from all over the state. The O.K. Chalet is now officially open. It is a new hangout area for anyone here during the winter which includes milkshakes, pizookies, pizza, and a mechanical bull with Hume and beans underneath. A tradition for the O.K. Chalet is to give an odd
