Seeing the Impact

Day three of Houston relief work has dawned. Today we worked at three separate locations that included an after school club and two houses. We finished spraying out the after school program building with fire hoses and squeegeed out the halls and classrooms. In the gymnasium of the same facility we moved the contents of a storage room to the stage and created piles consisting of personal care, first aid and infant products. During lunch

Eye opening opportunities

Howdy Y’all, We made it another day in the beautiful state of Texas. We woke up to the sound of mooing at the early hour of 7am for breakfast and our day began. We piled into vans to help out the Just Do It Now center, similar to The Boys and Girls Club, in Wharton, Tx. Exhausted and Excited

So, life in the building continues as always. Most of us went off to work and others enjoyed a weekend in San Francisco. The retreat for the weekend was for the Hume lakers and the legacy which consist of people who are dedicated to helping support Hume Lake.
