Lean not on our own understanding

The last few days, the entire class of Joshua adventured out to a nearby camp called Wildwood. Wildwood is a small camp behind Hume lake where a small group of Christians go weekly to spend time alone with God. Wildwood: Setting the foundation

Wildwood 2017 was a success! We hiked the students into camp on Monday and taught them to “drop their facades” along the way. After some great evening worship, thanks to Jason King, the students learned the history of Hume from Bob Phillips. New challenges

This week at Joshua we started our first class in the book of John. Our teacher, Brian, was very entertaining and made the introduction to the class fun. With one week in, we appreciated his video clips during class. We also had our first book discussion this week. We discussed Brad Bell’s Walking with a Limp.
