A Tough Week

This week was a rough week at the Joshua building. While we have had lots of fun, laughter, and joy in the building, we also have had deep sorrows and suffering. It was a week of the latter, unfortunately. This week five of our Joshua brothers and sisters were removed from the program. We are deeply grieved and even coming to write this post I found myself at a loss for words. We cherish the

Back to the 50’s

Hey Hey Hey, it has been so long since I have written a blog post and I am so excited to write about this week. Another Week in the Building

This week had one of the most average schedules we have had in Joshua, which I think is saying a lot about the way our schedule is constantly changing (in the best way possible). History at the Lake

It has been a historic couple of weeks at Hume Lake. The amount of snow that has fallen is unbelievable; the most in 40 years! The snow right outside the Joshua building is literally 7 feet tall! It was a wonder to watch all the snow accumulate outside, but not so wonderful to shovel it all. I worked in support services last weekend and all we did was shovel. It was actually pretty fun though

Snow Snow Snow!

Hello friends! It’s been a few weeks since I’ve written for the blog, at least it feels that way! It’s been a busy few weeks since returning from the DR and I think everyone is starting to feel it. Though it’s been busy, it’s also been such a sweet time working at the Winter Camps and getting back into the full schedule of classes, small groups, devotional time, and life in the building. I have
