We kicked things off with our Philippians 2 testing, which definitely had all of us stressed out and studying like crazy. It felt like such a big deal, and the pressure was real—but in the best twist ever, we all ended up passing! That alone made the week feel like a huge win, and the excitement afterwards
Over the past three months, Joshua has been filled with so much growth and continues to be a place of continued growth daily. Lately, in Old Testament class we learned about laments in the Poetic books, and the importance of lamenting to God. Going to God with our hurts and frustrations, isn’t a bad thing. In fact, he already knows about them, so choosing to keep them to ourselves only causes us to feel increasingly
This last week in the Joshua building was amazing and full of new excitements. We had our first snowfall at Hume which caused breakouts of snowball fights (inside and outside the building), a new view of our canyon now covered in snow, and indoor Spikeball at every hour of the day. Most importantly though, this week was full of spiritual growth and practices. My personal devo time has been so filling and God is healing

It was our first week of Phillipians testing – for chapter 1 – and praise the Lord that all 50 of us passed! It has been a joy to memorize Philippians; the Lord has shown up for all of us
