Last Day in Hartland!

Hey Joshua

As you probably know by now we’re not in the building this week we’re at Hartland getting dirty. They have a lot of jobs for us over here from ripping up carpet to deep cleaning the kitchen to cleaning up the trails to chopping logs but no matter how much work they give us we’re ready for it. Everyone seems to be having a blast despite the cold or long days work.

This week I’ve been on the carpet crew ripping up 40 year old carpet and getting the floors ready for the new stuff but we finished that this afternoon and I got to hop over to the brush crew and we got to snip away at small trees and shrubs along the side of the road. It’s awesome to be able to do good for the kingdom with your best friends. Serving together with them this week has been super fun.

After work today we played basketball in the gym and did the giant swing and we have an ice cream party at 8:30 in the dining hall that’s gonna be delicious. Also it’s Ben and Unique’s birthday today so we gotta sing to them (again).

Well it’s our last night here at Hartland and it’s been a really good time. We’ve got a lot of work done and the staff here have shown a lot of appreciation which is so kind. I hope we get the chance to serve here again. I hope everyone out there reading this is having a wonderful day before Halloween.
