Chef in a Cave

Friends and Family of Joshua,

So far this has been the most amazing experience of my life! Recently, we have had a speaker, by the name of Sam Meier, who is so insightful and taught us such amazing things about what the Bible says about Biblical creatures and God’s character. Not only that but I’ve also learned more about myself and the old testament than I have in years! Everything we have learned is just making the Bible come to life and it’s just beautiful.

Now it’s one thing to see God’s beauty in the Bible but it’s another to see it in person through His creation. I am so blessed to be able to live up here in the mountains. Just yesterday, me and all the other guys went to Tarzan Falls. You get there by following a stream in Kings Canyon all the way to a natural pool. We all had fun jumping off rocks and sliding down a waterfall.

After swimming for a bit, we all went to a different spot where we were able to walk into a cave entrance! We all had fun crawling in the dark through the water and at the end, we found chef! Chef is a tradition where each Joshua class tries to find him  who is literally just a chef statue.

Man, I can’t wait for the next adventure. Off to SoCal next!
