Re-adjusting Back to California Life

Hey guys! It’s been a crazy week of trying to readjust to California time. I have slept way too much and have studied way too little. It’s all good though I’m not stressed… Anyways it has been a smooth transition back into the building and I’m just excited that we’re back to a normal schedule and I’m not as sick as I was in the Dominican Republic! I’ve been enjoying my Dominican coffee and hanging

Back To Normal Life!

Hello Everybody! It’s back to normal life in the Joshua building! Everyone is settling back into the routine and it is a great time to be a Joshua student, save for a little jet lag. It was interesting to see just how many people were on time for breakfast given everyone was awake at about 5:30 in the morning, 9:30 A.M. Dominican Republic (DR) time. This week we have PJ Lewis as a speaker! So

Overwhelmed With Gratitude!

Wednesday, January 29th !Hola, hola, hola mis amigos! I am so beyond blessed to be updating you on our experiences in the Dominican Republic. Today was Beautiful and hot in Jarabacoa (which means high humidity), and it was a great day with my site leaders.  I’m part of the community health group which means that we are coming along side individuals within the community as well as local: hospitals, clinics, and schools in order to provide support, supplies, and education when it comes to health care.  Today we headed over to one of

The Days Are Flying By!

Monday, January 27th 70°f – 50°f No rain Partly cloudy ¡holá! Good to have you back on good ole Monday. In America, Monday’s are not always looked forward to. It is a day that drags and it seems like it won’t end any time soon. In the Dominican Republic on the other hand, Monday’s are just a continued rest day. We started the day off with our devotionals, continuing in Hebrews 11, looking at the
