It has been one craaazy week so far and so eventful too. Unfortunately life had to change around the building drastically due to the coronavirus, such as moving class into the great room and cancelling the trip to Israel. But hey! Hey everyone super stoked to share what’s been up the past couple of days! So coming back from LA was really interesting, we had previews that came on Monday and stayed through Wednesday. They were really cool and super fun to meet and get them introduced to what we do here at Joshua. We had girls night with the preview girls which was super fun and played a bunch of minute to win it games
What an exciting time rolling back from LA! We are settling back into life in the building again. From classes, to routine meals, to CHORES!!! We are pumped to be back. This week has started off great. With Andy’s parents as our Catalyst couple, and the smell of brownies down the hall from their room, we are happy campers! Bloge Today was so interesting in so many different ways. I was given the opportunity to see life changing things that took place in history. At the Museum of Tolerance we learned so much about about the holocaust and what happened. My heart was so broken to see everything that happened. Seeing life that God created being used by humans in the most evil way was really hard. Through it all I learned so much
Greetings from LA!! From this mornings trip to the food bank to Santa Monica Pier God has been present!! Our trip to the food bank was an eye opening experience. We learned about how they provide produce to the local mission groups that serve the homeless in the community, whether it is providing the elderly/children with food or making meals for the homeless in downtown LA.
